Sometimes the best meal in the world can be as simple as fried meat and melted cheese. Thank you Mr. Bourdain. This recipe gets the job done by taking the working man’s caviar—thin-sliced mortadella—and hitting it in the mouth with a savory punch from Bobby H Mustang BBQ Sauce.

Prep: Fold your mortadella into three ‘rosettes.’ These are sometimes called ‘little bunched-up piles.’ 

Fry: Heat oil or butter in a skillet. Add the rosettes separately. Fry until the edges are lightly crispy, flip.

Stack: Top each bunched up little pile with a slice of cheese and stack them in the pan.

Toast: Get the rye bread golden brown using the pan or a toaster. Your call.

Finish: Swipe some Bobby H Mustang BBQ Sauce across the bread, add your cheesy mortadella stack and serve hot.
